Ayurveda, the concept takes us to herbal life-the most primitive and the latest trendy medical science, which has gone so popular because of its zero side effects. In this issue we will discuss about the healing effects of natural leaves that are found in plenty around us.

Kalmi Shak: Kalmi shak, an aquatic herb that grows in water is very much commonly known to us. We use this variety to heal different diseases.

Kalmi is a good precautionary to pox. If two spoonful of Kalmi juice is taken regularly with warm milk twice a day, then very soon the body cells build up resistance against the bacterial disease.

Most people in these days suffer from insomnia followed by acute constipation. In that case, 40-50 drops of Kalmi juice in milk can be of some help.

Those who are fed up of their acidity problem, can try the mixture of two spoonful of Kalmi juice and one spoonful of aswagandha in milk.

Puin Shak: A creeper that is easily available in market. Those who suffer from acute amibiosis should never take Puin. Puin has some important medicinal properties.

The juice of the puin stem and puin leaves has healing effects on tumor. Some Ayurvedic physicians believe that juice from the seeds of puin is helpful in curing anaemia.

The ash of the puin stem and leaves cure Pyorrhea as well as bad breathing of mouth.

Thankuni: Thankuni is a variety of shrub that has a great effect on upset of stomach. 3-4 spoonful juices of Thankuni leaves in a cup of tea everyday bring lustre and brightness of the skin.

Lack of memory or forgetfulness can bring out major problems. In this case, a mixture of 2-3 spoonful of thankuni juice, half cup of milk and one spoonful of brahmi secretion can cause miracles.

Thankuni is also helpful to those people who suffer premature shedding of hair.

Gime shak: Gime shak is another variety of shrubs found in abundance during the end of summer and the beginning of the monsoon season. This particular variety keeps down the heat in our body. It has a miraculous effect on enlargement of liver.

Paste of the gime leaves when applied to the affected area cures skin disease.
