Bengali dishes are very popular, yet preparations of various
countries and places in India have grown popular with the cosmopolitan
characteristics of the city. In this cuisine section, we are
trying to figure out some very special and delicious menu that
could be easily prepared at home. The recipe has been brought
in here from different sources and we thank them for their cooperation
in enlighten us with the special dishes.

Prawn
in Mango with Poppy seed
This could be a delicious non vegetarian
dish that could be served in dinner or lunch.

Ingredient
· Prawn of medium size - 10 pieces
· Poppy seed paste - 25 grams
· Green Mango Paste - 100 grams
· Green Mango sliced - 5/6 pieces
· Green Chilly = 6 pieces to be pasted
· Sugar - ½ teaspoon
· Salt - as per taste
· Mustard Oil 75 grams
· Haldi - ½ teaspoon
· Black zeera - 1 gram

Preparation:
- Marinate
prawn with poppy seed paste, haldi, sugar, chilly
paste, salt
- Put
mustard oil in the pan
- Once
the oil is heated, put black zeera
- Put
marinated prawn in the pan
- Fry
for 5 minutes
- Now
put mango paste and salt and fry for 2 minutes
- Put
½ cup of water and allow the mix to be boiled
in closed pan for 2 minutes more
- Take
out the pan from the oven
- Allow
the preparation be bit cool
- Arrange
the preparation in a dish nicely and put the green
mango sliced around for garnishing.
